What is LED therapy?
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT LIGHT THERAPY CAN DO FOR YOUR SKIN?
Well, we have the answer for you!
First, what is LED therapy?
Light-emitting diode phototherapy is different wavelengths of light in LED lights which penetrate different depths of the skin. The closer the light is to the skin, the more effective it will be. The further the light is from the skin the less effective it will be.
It is a non-invasive skin treatment that can be used in salons, spas or even at home. Certain devices can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as a complementary to other services and treatments.
What are the benefits of LED therapy?
Experts have shown that LED therapy can have different beneficial properties when used on a regular basis, it can help skin improvement.
LED photon therapy is recommended for skin rejuvenation, acne prone skin, inflammation, psoriasis, wound healing and much more!
Most devices need to be used 2 to 3 times a week for at least 20 minutes.
Different light colours can play different roles in treating the skin:
Blue: The blue light helps fight acne. It reduces activity in the sebaceous glands which is responsible for production of sebum oil.
Less oil = less acne symptoms!
Red: The red light acts on the cell known as fibroblasts. The fibroblast helps the production of collagen, which stimulates the reproduction of the skin cells.
- Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
Yellow: The yellow light is known to increase the healing process and reduce redness.

It offers 3 different light modes which is fantastic for different treatments. You can use it everyday and treat your skin to different therapies or, you can use it based on your clients needs.
Not only is it waterproof, but it also heats in 3 seconds!
